Black Belt Grading 2012
The Black belt grading started years ago when you the students decided that they would like to become one. This meant a lot of hard work for all of you the candidates. You trained 4/5 days a week for the last 5 months and I could see a huge change in the way you had improved not to mention the good attitude that you all showed. I could see you becoming Black Belts in front of my eyes. I would like to thank you on behalf of The school and myself for the great job that you have done. I would like also to thank your parents for the time and effort that they have given to help you to achieve your goals in TaeKwon-do as well as in life.

The weekend started with a seminar on the Friday Night at the Big Hall at our school with special invited Guests. Master Ted Hopwood Master Frank Murphy ,and Master Clive Harision. This was a very good way to begin the weekend. This included the students who will be doing the black Belt grading next year.

The grading was on the following Morning In the Clarion at 10am. We had 2 black Belts one going for 2nd degree and 1 going for 3rd degree and 7 red belts going for 1st degree. They worked so hard for almost 4 hours in total. They were put through the full rage of techniques blocks and kicks and punches and strikes. The patterns and the step sparring and the full range free sparring.
It was finished with the questions of all they knew about
Taekwon-do its history and what TaeKwon-do meant for them.
They performed breaking techniques on the timer both hand and foot.
